2 things that can get me through any day are coffee and an attitude of gratitude. As someone who craves to be productive & is sometimes hard on herself, switching my perspective & focusing on the good in every situation can help me accomplish even the hardest of tasks. What are some things that help you feel productive? I am officially on vacation. Ladies, don’t forget to take true time out for yourself. As women we constantly have things vying for our time & attention, let’s make sure we take time to truly rest & refresh. Spending time in the Word is one of the most important things we can do as Christians the more time you nourish your spiritual woman the more you can grow & flourish naturally & be equipped to handle what life has to throw at you. Happy Sunday friends! Don’t forget to take sometime to rest. 🤎 Even Jesus took His time away don’t feel bad for taking time to disconnect. Happy Saturday! 🤎 Let’s talk about 6 tips to help increase productivity. Drop a comment and let me know some of the ways you increase your productivity. Happy Monday friends! Philippians 4:13 🤎 When I was a teenager my youth pastor at the time gave me this bookmark, it’s been in every Bible I’ve ever had since then. It’s a constant reminder to me of how far I’ve come & how important my quiet times are. Thank you to every single person who has taken the time to pour into my life over the years. 🤎 Happy Loving Day! Lately I’ve been feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders, literally. From racism & hate against BIPOC people in America, to the fighting between Israel and Palestine, unrest and genocide in multiple African countries, and now in Canada, the discovery of a mass grave of 215 children with more grave findings coming. I’ve felt very heavy, have shed a lot of tears, and struggled with the question as to why people can’t just be kind to one another and why being different is such a bad thing? This morning at church as we took 3.5 minutes of silence a second for each one of the children found this past week in BC, I felt God speak this verse out of John 16:33 it says, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” This isn’t to say that I still don’t feel this weight but I know Jesus is right there with me helping me carry it. He sees and He knows better than anyone hate, mistreatment & pain. And even though Jesus has been so misrepresented through a lot of these situations I know that His love, His message of kindness is truly the answer. So even though there’s hurt & pain I can rest easy knowing that I hold the answer and I can partner with Him to create change by showing kindness and spreading His hope & love. So for anyone out there feeling the same know He’s near to the broken hearted & He understands. 💜 Sometimes it's hard for us to remember that in this life we're living for an audience of One.⠀The only opinion that matters in this wolrd is the opinion of Jesus. It's easy with Instagram, Tik Tok and all the other social media platforms to feel that we need to impress everyone. That we need to make sure we say certain things, or agree with a certain viewpoint because well I'll be liked, or popular, but really the only thing that mattters is what God says, what matters most to Him, and ultimately what He thinks of me. As long as He's proud of me, I know I'm going in the right direction & making the right decisions. So take the pressure off yourself, you're living only for an audience of One. Happy Easter everyone!
